The community consultation meeting for 41 Chatsworth Drive has been scheduled for Monday, June 11th at Glenview Presbyterian Church from 6-8pm. The applicant has come in with a proposal for a 4-5 storey condo building which is very similar to the proposal that we worked so hard to successfully oppose in 2016.
Although I know where the community stands on this proposal, a community consultation meeting is a requirement through the planning process with any new application. It is important that residents come out to express their opposition to this proposal so that the applicant and City Planning can take this into consideration moving forward.
I have already started working with DART (Developing Areas Responsibly in Toronto) and have requested that the applicant revise their proposal so that it’s appropriate for a neighbourhood designation. To date, no significant changes have been made. I look forward to having your support and seeing you at the community meeting on June 11th.
